Riverview Drive boil order lifted

WEIRTON - The boil order issued Wednesday for the area of Riverview Drive has been lifted, effective at 8:30 a.m. today, according to a notice from the Weirton Area Water Board. The order was issued for Riverview Drive and Elwood Lane following scheduled work on a water line in the area. Customers in the affected area may resume using water without any restrictions or requirement to boil.

CHARLESTON — West Virginians affected by Tuesday's flash flooding can contact their local conservation district to report debris blockages in streams and waterways. Gov. Patrick Morrisey declared a state of emergency Tuesday for all 55 counties after severe weather caused flash flooding, landslides, road closures and other dangerous conditions across the state.
