Uncontested candidates move on
STEUBENVILLE — There were no contested races at the county level in Tuesday's primary election, and there likely will be just one in the Nov. 3 general election. That one race will be for the Jan. 1 Jefferson County commissioner seat. Incumbent Eric Timmons of Steubenville was unchallenged while seeking the Republican nomination for the post.
