Rogers Park Flea Market rescheduled for Aug. 29 AMSTERDAM — The first annual Rogers Park Flea Market has been rescheduled for Aug. 29 due to the forecasted thunderstorms on the event’s original Aug. 8 date. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Rogers Park and will feature vendors, food trucks, drink vendors, raffles and activities for the community. Organizers are seeking volunteers to assist with traffic, ticket sales and keeping the park clean. Donations of basketballs, pop and water for the community also are being accepted. STEUBENVILLE — Jefferson County commissioners agreed Thursday to submit the “very preliminary” estimate requested by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency regarding the potential cost of supplying Cadiz with water, but stressed they do not want to be rushed into a decision they could regret later. WHEELING – The Bethlehem Apostolic Temple will make its annual effort to help students move joyfully back to the classroom with two events this weekend. The church’s annual distribution of school supplies is set to begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the North Wheeling Dream Center, 407 Main St. in North Wheeling, at the rear entrance.
