STEUBENVILLE — A Richmond woman who allegedly punched a man after the truck pull at the 2025 Jefferson County Fair was among four people indicted by a Jefferson County grand jury Wednesday. Grand jurors indicted Kyleigh Marie McConnell, 225 Cherie Ave., Richmond, on a misdemeanor assault charge. Authorities allege McConnell, 36, took two swings at the victim after the truck pull on Aug. 15, striking him first on the side of the face and the second time connecting with his nose, which was broken. Traffic reminder issued before Weirton Independence Day events

WEIRTON – As part of the festivities for the Independence Day holiday, portions of Main Street in Weirton will be closed to traffic from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday.
