WEIRTON – A boil order has been issued for the 1000 and 1100 blocks of Pennsylvania Avenue, the 100 block of Inez Street and the 100 block of North 11th Street following work on a water line in the area. The Weirton Area Water Board issued the order following work on a line on Inez Street. If you live in the affected area, bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. ST. CLAIRSVILLE — A trial date has been set for former Martins Ferry volunteer fire chief William Rinderer. Belmont County Common Pleas Judge Chris Berhalter scheduled a jury trial for Aug. 13 at 9:30 a.m. Rinderer appeared before Berhalter on Monday morning. He was indicted last week on one count each of gross sexual imposition and pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor. On Monday, Rinderer's bond remained unchanged from when he was indicted at $75,000, with certain conditions. Berhalter said Rinderer is to have no contact with the alleged victim or any minors.
