Kenneth R. Kerr, Sr., 88, of Weirton, WV, passed away Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, at home.
He was born Dec. 25, 1928, in Follansbee, WV. He was the son of the late Edward and Geneva Mull Kerr.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth R. Kerr, Jr.
Ken was a member of the First Christian Church; U.S. Army, Korean War veteran; and a 50-year member of Weirton Lodge 171, A.F. & A.M.
He retired with 30 years of service as a City of Weirton police officer.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Bernice Duke Kerr; son, Robbie Kerr (Victoria) of Steubenville, OH; grandchildren, Christopher Kerr, Lauren Able, Kenneth R. Kerr, III and Megan Kerr; and four great-grandchildren.
Private family visitation will be observed.
