Shirley Rodgers

Shirley was born on October 2, 1936 in Follansbee, WV. She was the daughter of the late Alexander Peter Schindler and Bernice Ruth (Leeper) Schindler.

Shirley was Methodist by denomination of faith. She worked as a housekeeper at Motel 6, FL and retired from 7-Eleven, Cocoa Beach, FL. Many will remember Shirley for her love of playing BINGO, working on puzzle books and her latch hook rugs.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Rodgers in 2007.

Shirley is survived by her six children, Domenic “Rocky” Suppa and his wife, Denise of Titusville, FL, Vito Suppa and his wife, Cora of Toronto, OH, Frank “Jay” Suppa of Follansbee, WV, John Suppa and his wife, Mona of Valparaiso IN, William “Bill” Rodgers and his wife, Sherri Sisinni of Follansbee, WV and Michelle Steiner and her husband, Steve of Weirton, WV, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
