Paul Renald Giusto of Weirton passed Sunday, January 24, as an inpatient at Acuity Specialty Hospital Weirton; he was 95 years old.
He was born July 20, 1925, in Mingo Junction, OH. A son of the late Michael and Bessie Burkheart Giusto, Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Louise, on December 28, 2020, a very special family member, Ginger Gilham, sister Josephine Gabor, brothers Joseph, Charles, and Calvin Giusto.
Paul retired from National Steel after thirty-six years as a motor inspector in the Strip Steel Department. A member of the 25 year Club, Paul proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army's 3rd Infantry Regiment 106th Division overseas during World War II. Paul was a life member of the VFW Post 2716. He enjoyed talking about history and showing his pictures to anyone who showed interest. He enjoyed helping his son Mike with various projects, especially restoring his Model A. Paul attended Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church in Weirton.
Leaving behind to cherish Paul's memory is his son Mike Giusto of Weirton.
The Reverend Father Anthony G. Thurston will officiate a private committal service on Thursday, January 28, at Saint Paul's Mausoleum. Military services will be conducted by the WV National Guard and American Legion Post 10 Honor Guard.
