Albert Fowler Jr.

He was born on January 8, 1954 in Washington, PA, son of the late Albert L. and Agnes T. Nowicki Fowler.

Al was a 1971 graduate of Avella High School and attended Jefferson County Technical College for Welding. He worked as a maintenance technician at Weirton Steel Corporation for 49 years, retiring in March 2021.

Al enjoyed bowling in his league at Holiday Lanes in Weirton, WV and also coached bowling and Baseball in Wellsburg, WV. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

On December 31, 1999 he married Darlene Jackson, who survives.

Also surviving are his children, Kathryn (D.J.) Vizyak, Amanda (Paul) Mohney, Carrie Hart, Chad Stackhouse all of Wellsburg, WV, and Corey Stackhouse of Hollywood, FL; 8 grandchildren, Kevin, Vance, Matthew, Ryan, Abbigail, Gwendolyn, Kathleen and Kaley; sister, Donna (Doug) Coulter of Cecil, PA; two brothers, John (Charlotte) Fowler of Albany, GA and Duane Fowler of Bulger, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to his parents are, a sister Patricia J. Sefzik.

Friends and family will be received from 4pm until 7pm, the time of the Blessing Service, on Friday, November 19, in the Jerome A. Stefkovich Funeral Home Inc, 18 Campbell Street, Avella, PA 15312, with Rev. Harry Bielewicz officiating.
