Kathleen M. Grossi, 65, of Weirton, WV passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.
Kathy was born February 9, 1958, one of six children born to the late Dan and Dolores McGaughey Grossi.
Kathy graduated from Weirton Madonna High School in 1976, After graduation she continued her education at a local beauty school.
For years, after beauty school, she was employed at Duke and Duchess Hair Salon. Kathy then accepted a job on the production lines at Colliers Steel. She eventually finished her working career at Ball Corporation.
Most of All Kathy will be remembered as a loving and caring person. This was very evident in her actions towards her nieces, nephews, and her beloved cats.
She will be remembered with love by her two brothers, Dan and Rich (Maria); her three sisters, Maria (David) Robertson, Mary Ann Wells, and Dana Grossi; seven nieces and nephews; and five great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 3, from 10 AM until 11 AM at Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church 200 Preston Ave, Weirton, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM.
Reverend Fr. Nathan Malavolti will officiate.
Kathy will be laid to rest next to her parents at Saint Paul's Cemetery.
In honoring Kathy's love for her many cats, memorial contributions may be made to the Hancock County Animal Shelter, 715 Gas Valley Road, New Cumberland, WV 26047.
