ANGELO SCIARRONI

Angelo is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Gertrude Carmela Sciarroni, their children, Deneen (Todd) and Michael (Therese), and his sister, Anna Mary “Dolly” (Dave) Owens. He is also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Adele, Anthony, Frank, and Gemma Sciarroni. Nieces, Terri (Steve) Metcalf and Debbie Rutherford, nephew, David (Janet) Owens, dear family friends, The Harlan Family, and many other relatives.

Angelo always enjoyed working in his yard and time spent with family and friends especially around the dinner table. Angelo loved Gertrudes’ Gnoccis! You were blessed if you shared a meal at their house. They took every opportunity to attend their grandchildren’s sporting events, graduations, recitals, plays and grandparents’ days at their schools. Angelo was a member of Triumph of the Cross Catholic Church, The Knights of Columbus, The Jeffersonian Lodge “Italian Village” and loved to play cards and working on his computer. Angelo was a successful Insurance Representative with Metropolitan Life Insurance before branching off into financial consulting.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, May 31, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Mosti Funeral Home Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. A funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fr. Matthew Gossett, celebrant. Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
