CHARLES “CHUCK” BAILEY

Charles “Chuck” Bailey, 86 of Weirton, WV passed away peacefully on Friday June 23, 2023, at Valley Hospice, Inc., Steubenville, OH with his two loving daughters by his side. He was born April 20, 1937, in Weirton, WV. The son of the late Wilford and Margaret Hoag Bailey. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Shirley Lou Keeder Bailey (2021). Chuck was a member of Paris Sportsmen’s Club; 25 year club of Weirton Steel Corp.; Road Kings. Chuck was a survivor of the April 29, 1951, Weirton P & W bus crash. He retired from Weirton Steel Corp., construction garage as a foreman. Surviving are his daughters, Diane Bradley (Michael) of Newark, DE, Judy Costantini (Bill) of Imperial, PA; grandchildren, William and Annie. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday June 26, 2023, at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV where the funeral will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Larry Barkley Presiding. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Special thanks are extended to the staff of Valley Hospice, Inc. and the Visiting Angels for the loving care they provided to Chuck.
