DAVID MORRISON

He was born July 31, 1939, in Steubenville, OH, the son of the late James I. and Ida Brown Morrison. He was also preceded in death by brothers, James Morrison (late Evelyn), John “Jack” Morrison (late Shirley).

Dave was a member and past elder and trustee of the First Christian Church; Weirton Marina Club (past Commodore); 50 member of Richard Vaux Lodge No. 454 F. & A.M.; retired from Weirton Steel Corp. His hobbies included boating, gardening, farming, and flying.

Surviving are his wife, JoAnn Allen Morrison; children, David Mark Morrison (Suzanne), Kirk Allen Morrison (Leslie), Lori Morrison Massaro (Tony); grandchildren, Zachary Morrison, Aaron Morrison (Katie), Sam Morrison (Diedre), Ben Morrison, Stacey Reid (Zachary), Kristopher Massaro (Gail); great- grandchildren, Isla and Emma, Bailey and Miles, Austin, Nina; sisters-in-law, Nancy Allen Valles (Louis), Marian Allen; loving uncle to nieces and nephews, Vickie, Joe, Sara, Tresi, Lisa, Chris, Tom, Martha, Mary.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday June 27, 2023, at Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV. Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Reverend Mark Mayer presiding. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
