FRANCES KEENAN

Born December 25, 1935 in Rinard Mills, Ohio, she is a daughter of the late Emmett E. and Bessie J. (Moore) Howell. She is a 1951 Graduate of Bloomfield High School, and retired after over 20 years of service as a cashier at Walmart. She has also been a long-time member of Mensa International and attended Sugar Grove United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne L. Keenan Sr.; two sons, Mark and Kevin Keenan; a sister, Joan Taisey; and a brother, Paul Howell.

Frances is survived by her son, Wayne L. “Butch” (Meloney) Keenan of Toronto; a daughter, Jill (Jim) Keenan-Chismark of Calcutta; a sister, Carol Cogley of Hammondsville; a sister-in-law, Pauline Howell of Wellsville; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

In keeping with Frances’s wishes, graveside services will be held at a later date at the convenience of her family and at the Sugar Grove cemetery.
