JERRY BUCEY

Raised in Weirton by his parents Alfred and Emma (Stewart) Bucey, Jerry attended Shepherd College and West Liberty University.

Jerry retired in 2007 from careers in planning, public works, and community devel- opment. He loved fishing, history, gardening, woodworking, and gaming. Jerry was an Antietam Battlefield volunteer and served on the Shep- herdstown Historical Preservation Commission.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Susan, of 51 years, his three children–Eric (Dannah) Bucey, Mindy (Scott) Yard, and Scott (Stephanie) Bucey, sister Patty (Bucey) Beagle of Weirton, nieces Sandy (Beagle) Collier and Jenny (Beagle) Regalia, and 7 grandchildren.

A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at the Entler Hotel in Shepherdstown on July 15 at 1pm.
