MICHAEL REALE

Michael Nicholas Reale, 83 of Colliers, WV, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at his residence.

Michael was born on December 6, 1939, Toronto, OH. He was the son of the late Macario Reale and Lena (Conti) Reale.

Michael spent many years working in the construction industry as an independent or general contractor. Michael retired after working 22 years with Fred Olivieri Construction Company, Canton, OH. He was proud of his many accomplishments building retail stores throughout the U.S. He could always be found anytime of the day on the job site engaging with business partners and employees.

He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Follansbee, WV. Many will remember Michael for his love of music from playing the upright and electric bass guitar or dancing with his wife. He was an avid sports fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Emilia “Millie” Irene (Formis) Reale, a daughter, Lore Ann Ajluni and four sisters, Catherine Dunlap, Rose Petty, Esther Anderson and Antoinette Palmer.

Michael is survived by his four children, Debra Lynn Reale, John Michael Reale and his wife, Lynne, Gabriel Formis Reale, and his wife, Christina, and Vincent Paul Reale, a son-in-law, Thomas Ajluni, five grandchildren, Anthony Michael Ajluni, Emily Nicole Ajluni, Michael Wilson Reale, Mason John Reale and Nicholas Formis Reale, a sister, Josephine Blackburn, a sister-in-law, Janet Formis and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, August 3, 2023, from 4:00-7:00 PM and again on Friday August 4, 2023, from 9:00 AM followed by a Liturgy of the Word Service at 10:00 AM at the James Funeral Home, 1245 Main St, Follansbee, WV 26037 with Pastor Rev. Jude Perera, presiding.

Interment will be held privately at Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee, WV.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1017 Jefferson Street, Follansbee, WV 26037.
