JOHN “JACK” HENDERSON

John “Jack” Oliver Henderson, 87, of Mechanicstown, Ohio, passed away on September 16, 2023. He was born on November 19, 1935, in Bergholz, Ohio, to the late Oliver and Marjorie (Maple) Henderson. In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Henderson.

Jack served in the U.S. Army for 4 years and also loved model trains.

He is survived by his sister, Margaret (Tim) Johnston; his nephew, Andy (Stephanie) Johnston; and his great niece and nephew, Ryan and Becca Johnston; his stepson, Wally (Deb) Alexander; his stepdaughters, Susan Culp, Sharon (Rich) Maple, and Sandi (Tim) Stamper.

Friends will be received for a memorial gathering on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, from 3-5 P.M. at the Misfit Gym (Old Church of Christ), 1000 Jefferson St., Bergholz, OH 43908.
