AUDREY CAMPBELL

Audrey Lucille (Way) Campbell, 66 of Jacksonville, FL, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday at Baptist South, Jacksonville, FL.

Audrey was born July 5, 1957 in Weirton, WV. She was the daughter of the late William Maurice Way and Lucile Taylor (Meriwether) Way.

Audrey grew up in Follansbee, WV. She attended the area schools and publicly displayed her artistic skill early in life, when she was asked to create a mural for the hallway to the music classroom, in the new Brooke High School; from which she graduated in 1975. Audrey went on to attend Fairmont State College on a full four-year scholarship, receiving a Bachelors of Fine Arts in 1979. She then moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1980 and began her career as a Fine Art instructor for the Duvall County Public School system where she taught for 32 years. Many will remember Audrey for her love of drawing, painting, ceramics and poetry. She also loved to play the drums and with help, began setting her poetry to music.

Audrey is survived by her daughter Amanda (David) Campbell Fenley, two grandsons, Dylan and Dalton Fenley, all of Jacksonville, FL; siblings Barbara (Arthur) Stewart of Pittsburgh, PA, William C.
