JOSEPH HALE

Joe was born April 27, 1948, in Steubenville, OH, to the late Alvin Hale Sr. and Wilda Peters Hale Provenzano. Joe retired from Norfolk Southern railroad where he worked as a conductor, and was a Marine Veteran who served during Vietnam.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Becky Saunders.

He is survived by his loving wife Margaret “Jeannie” Hale whom he married November 6, 2002, one son Michael Lathem and Amy of Follansbee, WV, one daughter Missy Mercer and Matt of Wellsburg, WV, three brothers Alvin Hale Jr. and Connie of Texas, Tommy Hale of Steubenville, OH, and Johnny Hale of Arizona, two sisters Sue Aldridge and Randy of Arkansas, and Sherrie Sims and Andy of Georgia, and four grandchildren Brady and Cali Mercer, and Aidan and Connor Lathem also survive.

Private family services will be held at the convenience of the family.
