ANNA ASHBROOK

Anna Mary Ashbrook was welcomed home by the Lord on December 9, 2023. Born on March 5, 1936 in Steubenville, Ohio, she would go on to spend the next 87 years living by her faith, finding love, and crafting unbreakable bonds with her family. Ann loved cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State Buckeyes.

Although she lived the duration of her nearly nine decades in Ohio, Ann delighted in traveling in a camper with her late husband, Bill Ashbrook. Together, they would log miles and memories across the country, including Alaska.

Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Ashbrook, her parents Agnes and Rocco Crispino, Sr., her brother Rocco Crispino, Jr., her sister Edna Mae Crispino, and her grandson Eric Bretz.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of her surviving family members, including sister Dolores (Don) Moore, along with nieces Sharon Striker, Therese (Roger) Stacey, and Veronica Irvin, along with nephew David (Teresa) Crispino, along with six great nieces and nephews and five great-great nieces and nephews.

Ann is also survived by her stepdaughter Peg (Tom) Alexis, stepdaughter Judy (Don) Bretz, stepdaughter Jan Ashbrook, and her grandsons Chris (Andrea) Alexis and Ryan (Meg) Alexis, along with granddaughter Sarah Ashbrook. She also leaves behind seven great grand- children.

The family invites friends and loved ones to join in honoring her life Saturday at Mosti Funeral Home, located at 4435 Sunset Blvd, Steubenville, OH 43952. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.

At 11:30 am, the funeral procession will proceed to Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 280 Rose- mont Avenue, Steubenville, OH 43952, where a Mass will be held from noon to 12:45. Burial will be at Union Cemetery in Steubenville.
