CHARIESSA “SAM” COIL

Sam was born in the Gault family home, Dec. 10, 1934, in Toronto (Costonia), daughter of the late Woodrow W. and Ethel M. (Still) Gault.

She was a 1952 graduate of Jefferson Union HS and attended the former Bray’s Chapel UM Church. Sam held many jobs over the years before retiring from Edison Local School as a cook. Her hobbies included Bingo, gambling, and bowling in the Women’s League in Toronto.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry D. ‘Pappy’ Coil (2009), sister, Jennie Redmond four brothers, Woody, Franklin, Robert and Daniel, and brother- in-law, Bob Wellington.

Sam leaves behind her children, Rick (Terrie) Coil, Roxanne (Kevin) Gillis both of Toronto, Kevin (Ella) Coil of Irondale, and Tim Coil of Toronto; four grandchildren, and four great grand- children; two sisters, Jackie Wellington of Toronto, and Linda Bozick of Norwalk, CA; two brothers, Walter (Carla) Gault of Houston, TX, and Paul (Barb) Gault of Homesdale, PA; brother-in-law, Don Redmond and sister-in- law, Sue Gault both of Toronto, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Sam will be held Sunday, Dec. 17 from 1 pm to 4 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto followed by her funeral service at 4 pm. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate, and a private burial will be held on Monday at Island Creek Cemetery in Toronto. www.jefosterfh.com
