HAROLD “JOE” GRECCO
Harold “Joe” Grecco, 88, of Steubenville died Sunday, December 17, 2023 at The Meadows of Cadiz. He was born April 7, 1935 in Thomas, WV. He is the son of the late Jack and Ina Reed Grecco. Joe is also preceded in death by three sisters, Rosemary Mystkowski, Gloria Spear, and Jean Lipovick.
Joe was the former band director at Steubenville High School from 1965 to 1984. Joe always took pride in shows and was very dedicated to his students.
Surviving are his wife Deborah Fretwell Grecco whom he married July 29, 1972, One daughter, Donna Pace and a brother, Ralph Grecco. Sister in law, Karen (Jimmy) Graham-Antoniou. Godchild, David Graham. also Joe’s dear friend Lee Gillison who has been like a son to Joe for many years.
Calling hours will be Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Starkdale Presbyterian Church, 4600 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville, from 11:00 am until the time of services at Noon, Rev Carl Moore will officiate and Herb Fletcher a great friend of Joe’s will provide the Eulogy. Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
