KRIS KINNEY

Kris was born on Jan. 29, 1960 in Weirton, WV. She was the daughter of the late Darrell Glen Morgan Sr. and Edith “Eddie” (Geary) Morgan.

Kris was United Methodist by denomination of faith. She worked as the night shift LPN at both Brightwood Center and the former Valley Haven. Kris was a member of many nursing associations. Many will remember Kris for her love of the great outdoors and sports especially the WVU Mountaineers and the Brooke Bruins.

Kris is survived by her long-time companion and husband, Rick Kinney, three children, Stephanie and Stacey Finnelli and Michael Gurrera, two siblings, Bruce Morgan and his wife, Joyce and Darrell “Dude” Morgan Jr. and his, Jody, two nieces, Nicole Morgan and Marissa Coss and her husband, Lance, two nephews, Aaron Morgan and his wife, Lindsay, Bryan Morgan and his wife, Desire and many friends.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Thursday at 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV, 304-527-1717.

Interment will follow at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV.
