LOIS A. KIRK

Lois Ann (Bruzda) Kirk, 81, of Steubenville, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side in their home, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease on December 18, 2023. She was the daughter of Paul & Harriet Newman. Lois was a graduate of Steubenville Big Red high school, Wheeling Jesuit, and Ohio Valley School of Nursing/Anesthesia. She was a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists for 40 years. She thoroughly enjoyed her job at Steubenville Ohio Valley Hospital followed by Trinity Health System. She was an extremely intelligent woman who loved and cared for each and every patient that she provided care for. She always put others before herself, whether it be in the workplace or with her family. She loved to cook, solve crossword puzzles, worked in the yard to make her landscaping look immaculate, and spending quality time with her loved ones. She was an animal lover and especially enjoyed spending time with her golden doodle James.
