JOHNNY SNYDER

Johnny Michael Snyder, 65 of Wellsburg, WV passed away January 11, 2024, at home. He was born September 14, 1958, in Sutton, WV to Jack and Doris (Riffle) Snyder. He was the owner/ operator of Snyder’s Marathon in Wellsburg, WV. Johnny was known for his mechanic work from rebuilding motors, his many project cars, trucks, and mud racers. In his spare time, he enjoyed boating and motorcycles. After retirement he spent his days being Pappy to his best buddy Jackson. He was preceded in death by his sister Beverly Ostrosky on Jan. 4, 1987. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 45 years Robin (Hukill) Snyder, his daughter Michelle Snyder Temple (Robert) of Greendale, IN, a sister Rebecca Schultz (Donald) of Brookeville, IN, and his grandson Jackson E. Temple of Greendale, IN. Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 14, 2024, from 12 Noon until 4p.m. at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg, WV. Visitation again, Monday, January 15, 2024, from 9am until the time of service at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Seabright officiating. Interment will follow at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society Brooke County Relay for Life c/o Tammy Hornick 543 Pontiac Rd., Wells- burg, WV.
