KAREN SOMMERS

Karen L. Sommers, 84, of Steubenville, OH passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Country Club Manor. She was born in Steubenville on September 9, 1939 a daughter of the late Roy and Isabel Eddy McClave. She was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel as a programmer. Karen was preceded in death by her husband Louis C. Sommers; son Rob Sommers and her sister Mary Ann Pool. She is survived by her sons Jeff Sommers of Wintersville and Brian “Tag” (Sandra) Sommers of Avon Lake, OH; grandchildren Brian Sommers, Jake Sommers and Rachel Sommers-Kemp (David). Private family visitation on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 11 a.m. until noon at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville, OH .
