MARK COWDEN

Mark (Hoss) Cowden of Weirton, WV, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024 in the presence of God and his family.

Hoss was preceded in death by his father, Robert S. Cowden Sr. and survived by his wife, Christal Cowden; his daughters, Elise (Ryan) Fullerton and Liz (Donald) Welch; his mother, Patricia A. Cowden; his brothers Robert Cowden Jr. and David Cowden; his brothers and sisters in law, his aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends, and his beloved pooch, Clancey.

Family, friends, and those who have been touched by Hoss’s kind heart are invited to Open Door Baptist Church at 3432 Eldersville Rd, Colliers, WV 26035, from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, January 8, 2024, to reminisce on all the many Hoss stories, grieve, and support one another amid such a loss.

Open Door Baptist Church will host the funeral on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 11 a.m. immediately followed by a luncheon; all are welcome. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations towards covering funeral expenses. www.grecohertnick.com
