MYRL “DOUG” GOTSCHALL

Doug was born on November 5, 1958 to the late Myrl and Betty Jo Gotschall of Steubenville. Myrl in addition to his father is preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Jo and a brother, Mark.

He was an avid outdoorsman and nature enthusiast. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, watching WWE and the Dallas Cowboys. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his friends and family, especially those who knew him as “Pappy” or “Uncle Doug”.

He is survived in addition to his mother by his daughter; Erika (Joe), brothers, Ernie (Heather) and Rick (Lisa), sisters, Rhonda and Tonya, grandchildren, Joe, Owen and Emylia, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, all who he loved dearly.

Calling hours will be held at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435, Sunset Blvd. Steubenville on Saturday January, 6, 2024 from 10 AM to 12 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family will be accepting donations to help offset the final expenses.
