ROBERT “BOB” HIGGINBOTHAM, JR.

He was born February 29, 1948, in New Martinsville, WV to Robert Glen and Mabel Grace Straight Higginbotham Sr.

Bob was a retiree of Weirton Steel Corp. as an electrician in the maintenance dept.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his nephew Chase Correll.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of 27 years Sara Wells Higginbotham, a son Robert “Rob” Higginbotham (companion Summer) of Colliers, WV, step daughter Connie Parker (Alan) of Linden, NC, step son Bobby Lemasters (Dawn) of Waterford, OH, two sisters Shelby Warner (Roger) of Pine Grove, WV, Jan Pavlic of Hannibal, OH, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will take place on Friday, January 26, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg, WV.

Interment will take place on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Victory Cemetery, Indian Creek Rd., Alma, WV at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Tunnels to Towers.
