ROSEMARIE CIESLAK
Rosemarie “Rie” Cieslak, 87, of Steubenville died Friday January 5, 2023 at Weirton Medical Center. She was born June 20, 1936 in New Cumberland. She is the daughter of the late James and Perditta O’Toole Patterson, Rie is also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cieslak, step daughter Michele Cieslak Kelly, and special cousin, Barb Smaltz.
Rie was a member of the Wintersville United Methodist Church, served as the secretary to the Hope Circle for several years, and was retired from Weirton Steel, General office after a long successful career with 38 years of service.
Surviving are one son, Michael (Chris) Cieslak of, Spring, TX; two daughters, Linda Vanik and Carolyn Roscoe both of Steubenville; grandchildren, Amanda (Andrew) Radakovich, Maria Roscoe, and Jacob Stachyra, and one great granddaughter, Avi Albritton.
Calling hours are Wednesday 3-5 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville, where services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday. Rev. Clint Quillen will officiate. Burial will follow at New Cumberland Cemetery.
