CHRISTOPHER DORMAN

Christopher was born on July 29, 1970 in Jacksonville, FL. He was the son of the late Ron and Sandra Jo (Blair) Purvis.

Christopher worked as a HVAC technician/ Maintenance Specialist for over 20 years. Many will remember Christopher as a loving and devoted husband, nothing brought him more joy than the time spent with his wife. He had a knack for making family and friends feel loved and valued, a testament to his generous spirit and loving nature. He also enjoyed riding his Harley and being gun enthusiast

Christopher is survived by his wife of 23 years, Michelle (Cecelones) Dorman of Follansbee, WV, two children, John C. Dorman and his wife, Michelle of Japan and Kendel Dorman of Arkansas, a granddaughter, Johanna Dorman, two brothers, William Dorman and Michael Dorman and his wife, Kay, a father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gary and Linda (Warman) Cecelones of Follansbee, WV, a sister-in-law, Paula Morrison and her husband, Gregory, a niece, Karlee Hanchin and her husband, Jordan, great niece and great nephew, Vivian and Cole Hanchin, and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and close friends.

Christopher is gone from us but will never leave our hearts. He will be forever missed!

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 11:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 2:00 PM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304)527-1717 with Reverend Debra Dague, officiating.

Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee, WV.
