Earl Jeffery Reeves, 67, of Toronto, OH, passed away Thursday, Feb. 22, 2024, in the Valley Hospice Care Center in Steubenville, OH.

Jeff was born Oct. 2, 1956, in Steubenville, son of the late Jacob T. and Madge (Sinnett) Reeves.

Jeff was a 1975 graduate of Toronto High School. After graduating Jeff moved to Miami, FL, where he drove truck for a lumber company. Upon returning to Toronto, he went to work at the former Hancock Manufacturing.

Jeff later went to work for Toronto City Schools, as a Custodian for 17 years, before his eventual retirement. After he retired Jeff could be seen out delivering prescription medication for Toronto Apothecary or riding his bicycle.

In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by sister, Charlotte Gatton, brothers, Jake, Bob, and Richard Reeves, and niece, Suzanne Kresser.

Jeff leaves behind two sisters, Jan (Clint) Buchanan and Dorothy Gault-Clouse; two brothers, Nelson (Jeannie) Reeves and Clifford (Inga) Reeves; nieces and nephews, Sherri Wilson, Shanley Slike, Clint and Tommy Buchanan, Michelle Rawson, Stephanie Dugan, Bobby and Andy Reeves and Katie Mills and families.

Visitation for Jeff will be held on Monday, Feb. 26 from 4 pm to 7 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, where his funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 am. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate, and burial will follow in the Toronto Union Cemetery.
