PAUL SLOANE

Paul M. Sloane, 60, of Toronto, OH, passed away Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, in the Valley Hospice Care Center in Steubenville, OH.

Paul was born May 5, 1963, in Steubenville, son of the late William and Juanita (Coughenour) Sloane.

Paul was retired from Altium Packaging where he worked as a Mechanic. He was a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Toronto. Paul also loved to go camping and golfing and he was an avid fan of THE Ohio State Buckeyes.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brother, James “Jim” Sloane, and twin-sister, Paula Sloane.

Surviving is his wife, Mariah (Pantoja) Sloane, whom he married March 23, 2018; children, Cheyenne Sloane of AZ, Monique and Wyatt Sloane both of Toronto; four sisters, Helen Rawson, Charlene Green, and Christine Sommers all of Toronto, and Marlene Ingold of Richmond, OH; three brothers, William (Debbie) Sloane, III, and John Sloane both of Toronto, and Charles Sloane of Steubenville, and several loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Paul will be held Wednesday, Feb. 14 from 2 to 6 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will follow on Thursday at 10 am at the St. Francis Catholic Church. Fr. Thomas Vennitti will celebrate and burial will be held at the convenience of Paul’s family in the Toronto Union Cemetery.

There will be additional visitation on Thursday at the church from 9:15 to 10 am. A Vigil Service will be held Wednesday at 1:30 pm at the funeral home.
