PAUL TRUDICS
Paul Trudics, 93, of Toronto, OH, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024, in the Laurels of Steubenville, OH.
Paul was born April 4, 1930, in Toronto, son of the late Metro and Anna (Karaffa) Trudics.
Paul retired from the former Hancock Manufacturing Company, where he worked as an Electrician for 54 yrs. After retiring, Paul went to work for Seven Ranges Manufacturing in Carrollton, OH.
He was a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Toronto and was an Amateur Ham Operator, with the call letters WA8PSZ.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by an infant son Steven, three brothers, Milton, Edward, and Joseph Trudics and five sisters, Martha Leonard Cooper, Sophie Motto, Anne Stevenson, Agnes Volsky, and Helen Skiver.
Surviving is his wife, Yvonne ‘Bonnie’ (Lastivka) Trudics, whom he married Aug. 31, 1957; two sons, Mark (Patty) Trudics of Akron, OH, and Matt (Dawn) Trudics of Toronto; three grandchildren, Stephanie (Matt) Fawver of Sarahsville, OH,
Zakary and Maegyn Trudics of Toronto, and two great granddaughters, Kylie and Emma Fawler.
The visitation will be held Friday Feb. 24, from 3 pm to 7 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will take place Saturday at 10 am at St. Francis Church with Fr. Thomas Vennitti and burial will follow in the Toronto Union Cemetery.
A Vigil Service will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 pm at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
