Maxine Gertrude McGrew Resseger, 93 of Catawba, NC formerly of Weirton, WV passed away April 28, 2024, at home. She was born February 17, 1931, in Wellsburg, WV to the late Leonard and Frances Wilson McGrew Sr. She was a member of the Weirton Covenant Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Resseger, her son Thomas A. Rairigh, a brother Leonard McGrew Jr., and a sister Jeannie Helton. She is survived by her three sons Daniel L. Rairigh (Debbie) of Weirton, WV, Randy Rairigh (Jalayna) of Catawba, NC, Todd A. Rairigh of TX, a daughter Jody Cerminara (Angelo) of New Cumberland, WV, five grandchildren Daniel, Michael, Joshua, Roberta, Randy, and several great grandchildren also survive. Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 2, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg, WV. Funeral service will take place on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor James Folio officiating.Interment will follow at Brooke Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV.
