He was preceded in death by his wife Bea Johns and son Randy Johns.

He is survived by three children, Cindy (Mike) Zahler, Ron (Penny) Johns and Beth (Russ) Crawford; a brother, Bruce (Carolyn) Johns; six grandchildren, Andrew (Ally) Zahler, Kevin (Morgan) Zahler, Kyle (Nicole) Johns, Kayla (Andy) Higginbotham, Lindsey (RJ) Diecks and Jared (Mariah) Crawford; seven great-grandchildren, Blake, Kai, Zoe, Elyana, Kenly, Wyatt and Declan; and Ron’s companion, Donna Gilson.

His wishes are to be cremated with no services. He will be buried with his wife and son at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
