MARLENE BOWER

Marlene Kathryn Bower 69, went home to the Lord on June 21, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. A daughter of the late Ronald and Bessie (Mercer) Thompson, she was born on May 28, 1955 in Weirton, WV.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Bower; sister, Barbara Martinez; brother Ronald Thompson, Jr.

Marlene is survived by her children, Bethany (Bernie) Smith and Timothy “T.J.” Bower; brothers, Tim (Angie) Thompson and Mark Thompson; sister-in- law, Tina Thompson; brother-in-law, Tom (Peg) Bower; grand- children, Kayla Bower, Haylee Booher, Kaden Smith and Aubrey Bower; several nieces and nephews.

Marlene earned her nursing degree and worked as an RN at Dixon Health Care and then at Heritage Complete Home Care where she served as Director of Nursing.

Private arrangements are entrusted to Everhart-Bove Funeral Homes.
