MARY FONNER

She was preceded in death by her parents William T. and Mabel Elliott, her husband William F. Fonner Sr. to whom she married June 13, 1964, and their son William F. Fonner Jr., and her sister Dolores McKitrick

She is survived by her, daughter Shari Fonner Buffington and her boyfriend Aaron Rss and a very special nephew Thomas McKitrick, whom she thought of as a son.

She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Paul Ryan Buffington and Breona Buffington of Weirton, WV, Zachary and Jonnielynn Buffington of Colliers, WV, Thomas and Josiah Buffington both of Weirton, WV.

Mary Lou also known as GiGi to Marshall J. and Iverson P. Buffington.

Mary Lou leaves her precious fur baby, Sasha to the care of her daughter

Mary Lou worked as a secretary for the Vocational Rehabilitation Services for WV for almost 26 years and was a member of the Wellsburg Methodist Church where she served on numerous committees and was the director of music.

Visitation will be Monday, June 17, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg, WV.

Service will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with officiating Pastor Carl Tribett.

Interment will follow at New Bethany Cemetery, Bethany, WV
