Jayden R. Hill, 19, of Brilliant, OH, passed away Tuesday July 9, 2024 at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH after a short but hard fought battle with an aggressive incurable cancer.
He was born August 14, 2004, in Weirton, WV. He was preceded in death by a brother, Carson Winland; two sisters, Keirsten and Kaylee Winland; his maternal grandfathers, Thomas W. Bensie, Sr. and Robert Hill; and his paternal grandfather, Walter "Booty" Winland.
Jayden attended Buckeye Local High School. He loved to draw, collect memorabilia, listen to music, watch movies with his family, spend time with his friends, and he loved spending time with his grandparents, Mary and the late Tom Bensie.
Surviving are his mother, Brielle Hill of Mingo Junction, OH; his father and step-mother, Roy (Ashley) Winland of Rayland, OH; a sister, Jordan Trouten of Adena, OH; his maternal grandparents, Cheryl Bensie (Mimi) of Brilliant, OH and Ty Hill of Brilliant, OH; his paternal grandmother, Marlene Winland of Cecil, PA; his maternal great- grandmothers, Mary Bensie of Mingo Junction, OH; and Sharon Weldon of Brilliant, OH; an aunt, Taylor Hill (Kurt Peterson) of Mingo Junction, OH; and many aunts, uncles and cousins who all loved him dearly.
Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home 712 Third St., Brilliant, OH, on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of his funeral service at 6:00 p.m.
