VIRGINIA BOWMAN

Virginia May Misch Bowman 98, of Wellsburg, WV passed away peacefully, July 4, 2024, at Wellsburg Health Care Center, Wellsburg, WV. Virginia was born June 22, 1926, in Wellsburg, WV to the late Henry and Rose Stock Misch. She retired from Bethany College where she was the director of housekeeping. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Frank Bowman Jr., three brothers John, Frank, and Henry Misch, and three sisters Helen Irvin, Elizabeth Legg, and Katherine Donley. She is survived by her three sons William F. Bowman III and Cheryl, of Wellsburg, WV, Robert G. Bowman and Laura of Murrysville, PA, and Larry M. Bowman and Rachelle of Follansbee, WV, seven grandchildren Amy, Erik, Chad, Jason, Mara, Lori, and Robin, eight great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be held Tuesday July 9, 2024 from 11am until the time of service at 1pm at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles Street, Wellsburg, WV 26070. Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery.
