WILLIAM AFTANAS

William Robert Aftanas 76, of Wellsburg, WV passed away June 29,2024 at home. He was born June 19, 1948, in Steubenville, OH to the late Joseph and Evelyn Odem Aftanas. He Retired from Weirton Steel and was an Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Robert “Chip” Aftanas, and Brother Edward Aftanas. He is survived by his wife Margaret Bruder Aftanas, son Michael Aftanas and Leslie of Steubenville, OH, three grandchildren Ava and Raylyn Aftanas and Michael Ford, several niecesnephews and cousins also survive.
