Donis "Tiny" Cecilia (Dawson) Whiteman, 68 of Hickory, PA, grew up in Wellsburg, WV, passed away suddenly, Monday, August 5, 2024 at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, PA.
Tiny was born on March 20, 1956 at Ft. Meade Army Base in Maryland. She was the daughter of the late Norman "Bus" Dawson Sr. and Mary Katherine (Woodburn) Dawson.
Tiny is survived by her husband of 35 years, Robert Dummer of Hickory, PA, a step daughter, Madison "BJ" Lilley and her husband, Jesse, a grandson Ayden Dummer-Smith, two siblings, Norman "Butch" Dawson and Tammy Craig and nieces and nephews. Tiny loved everyone and welcomed them as family even if they were not blood relatives.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551.
