James D. Leas, 73, of Jewett, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Steubenville on June 22, 1951 a son of the late John D. and Barbara J. "Jodie" Myers Leas, Sr. He was the retired owner of JoEl's Lighting & Supply.
Jim was an avid Big Red fan and a member of Masonic Lodge 691 F&AM and Aladdin Shrine.
Jim is survived by his two daughters Greta E. Leas and Erica E. Leas; brother John D. (Saundra) Leas, Jr.; Barbara Chuich Leas and faithful canine companion Tiberius.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. Private burial.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Jefferson Co. or Harrison Co. Humane Societies.
