Roger Lee McCallister, Sr.; 77, of Carrollton, OH; went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Monday August 12, 2024 after a lengthy illness surrounded by his loving family.
He was born April 14, 1947, in Milton, WV, to Hersey McCallister and Virginia Grace Gilpin McCallister Roby.
He was preceded in death his parents, maternal grand parents, George Lawrence Gilpin and Lola May Berry Ramey, and paternal grand parents Lewis Alford and Sallie B (Bird) McCallister, two Sisters Peggy Jean Gentry and Betty Gaye Kustrin, and One Brother Jimmy Dale McCallister, Sr. and daughter Lisa McCallister
Surviving are one brother Jerry D McCallister; two sons, Roger Lee (Lori) McCallister Jr. and Bobby (Brittanee) McCallister of Weirton, WV; and one Daughter Victoria "Vicki" McCallister (Justin Montgomery)of Weirton, WV; 9 grand children Cody McCallister, Mercedes McCallister, Katelynn (Joseph)Wetzel, Jaedyn Kush, Haley McCallister, Tyler Haddon, Jerzee McCallister, Sopheeya McCallister, Kylie Montgomery and one great grand child Elaina Smith.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Simmons Ridge Chapel, Amsterdam, OH.
On Saturday August 17th at noon with Pastor Martin L. McCallister, Sr. officiating.
Interment to follow in the family plot in Simmons Ridge Cemetery's with Him receiving full Military Honors.
