GEORGE CRONIN

George Marcus Cronin, 53, of Salineville, OH, passed away at his home on Wednesday Sept. 18, 2024.

George was born Sept. 28, 1970, in E. Liverpool, OH, son of the late Clarence and Edna (Speedy) Cronin.

George formerly worked at Homer Laughlin China and Grady Rentals.

He was a member of Pine Grove Church, loved spending time with his grandkids, loved to hunt, fish and go boating.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by a nephew, Isaac Cronin.

Surviving is his wife, Toni Jo (Tate) Cronin, whom he married on Oct. 27, 1990; two sons, Joseph (Julie) Cronin and Marcus (Shelli) Cronin both of Hammondsville, OH; daughter, Ciara (Shane) Board also of Hammondsville; six grandchildren, Aiden Lawrence, Bella Cronin, Mason Cronin, Carter Cronin, Grace and Violet Board; three sisters, Jenny (Steve) Herrick of Hammondsville, Nola (Doug) Holmes of Wellsville, OH, and Maria (Freddie) Polen of Hammondsville; six brothers, Rick (Melinda) Cronin, Randy Cronin, Jim (Lori) Cronin, Norman (Julie) Cronin all of Hammondsville, Dan (Shawnna) Cronin of Toronto, OH, and Ben (Becky) Cronin of Salineville, OH.

Visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 23, 2024, from 4 to 8 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, where his service will be held Tuesday at 11 am. Pastor Kathy Thomas will officiate, and burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
