RICHARD “RICK” RAMSEY

Richard “Rick” Harold Ramsey, 62, of Richmond, Ohio, passed away on September 17, 2024. He was born on April 7, 1962, in Steubenville, Ohio, to Lorraine (Skeeles) Ramsey and the late James Ramsey. In addition to his father, Rick is preceded in death by his sister, Judy Paree.

Rick was an autobody collision and repair teacher at Hancock County Schools for 18 years. He also was a member of the Jefferson County E.A.A. and the Richmond Methodist Church. Rick loved to play guitar in the band, fly, skydive, and participate in water sports.

In addition to his mother, Rick is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Wendi (Woods) Ramsey; his daughters, Jess (Sean) Ramsey and Emily (Taylor) Cain; his brother, Jim (Jan) Ramsey; brother- in-law, Frank Paree; his grandson, Crew; and his many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville, Ohio, on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 2-6 P.M.
