BENJAMIN CARSON
Benjamin John “BJ” Carson, 50, of Clarksburg, WV formerly of New Cumberland, WV passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Ruby Memorial Hospital Morgantown, WV.
He was born March 31, 1974 in East Liverpool, OH a son of Robert L. “Kit” (Vicky L. Burkett) Carson of New Cumberland, WV and his mother Juanita (Neuch) Bowers.
He is a veteran of, and served proudly in, the United States Marine Corps, retiring with the rank of Sergeant.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his children Kiera Lynn Carson & Nathan Andrew Carson both of Chester, WV; his children’s mother Krista Carson; 2 brothers Robert Chad (Ranee) Carson of Mt Pleasant, SC; Andrew Paul Carson of Richmond, VA; 2 half brothers Michael (Kristen) Malcomb of Odenton, MD and Jacob Malcomb of Richmond, VA; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Friends will be received Friday, November 8th, 2024 from 11:00 am until time of services at 1:00 pm at Turley Funeral Home in New Cumberland, WV. Interment and Military Honors will follow in the New Cumberland Cemetery.
