ROBERT MRVOS
Robert G. Mrvos, known to family and friends as Bob, Bobby or Jedo, passed away on Nov. 10th, 2024 at the Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa, Fl, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 78 years old. A lifetime resident of Weirton, WV, Bob moved to Clearwater, Fl in 2020.
Born on March 4, 1946, Bob was the son of the late Robert “Buzzie” and Mary Mrvos. . After graduating from WVU, Bob dedicated much of his life to Weirton Steel, where he worked for many years. He also served as an active member of the board at First Choice Community Federal Credit Union for over 30 years.
Bob is survived by his wife Renee “Amorocchi” Mrvos, daughter Stacy “Mrvos” Armour and her husband Rob, and their children Reagan, Brooklyn, and Hudson, all of Naperville, IL; his son Robert G. Mrvos Jr. and his wife Kim, and their children Jordan and Brody, all of Littleton, CO. He is also survived by several first cousins and extended family members and dear friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tues. Nov. 26th at 1pm at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Largo, Florida to honor Bob’s life and legacy.
Bob’s family takes comfort knowing he is now at peace, free from pain, and surrounded by so much love. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.
