Dora Lee Barr, 92 of Wellsburg, WV died peacefully on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at home with her family by her side.
She was born on November 30, 1932, in St. Mary's, WV a daughter of the late Clifford Raymond and Armenia (Kidder) Lamp. In addition to her parents Dora is preceded in death by her first husband, Leroy Mack Ensminger; her second husband Robert Barr; two sons, Larry Leroy Ensminger, Michael Franklin Ensminger; two brothers, Clifford Raymond Lamp and George Joseph Lamp; and one sister, Almeda Parsons.
Dora was a devoted homemaker and a faithful member of The Foundery Church formerly known as Brooke Hills Free Methodist Church.
She is survived by five children, Eddy (Vicki) Ensminger, Myra (Robert) Porter, Wayne (Lu Ann) Ensminger, Scott (Michelle) Ensminger, Denise (John) Hendrickson; 16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; two brothers, Franklin (Kitty) Lamp of Ft. Myers, FL, Phil (Debbie) Lamp of St. Mary's, WV; four step sons, Robert, David, Don, and Dan Barr; four step grandchildren; her furry companion Bella; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV 26037 and again on Saturday, December 28th from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at The Foundery Church 1340 Washington Pike Wellsburg, WV 26070 with Pastor Josh Green officiating.
Interment will follow at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens.
