Stanley "Sonny" Ray Pustovarh, 82, of East Liverpool, passed away peacefully at home on December 29, 2024.
Born February 27, 1942, in Wheeling, he was the son of the late Stanley and Mary Prezenkop Pustovarch.
Sonny was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia "Patty" Heath Pustovarh; sister, Marj Defillipis; and daughter, Shannan Adams.
A graduate of Follansbee High School Class of 1960, he proudly served as a veteran of the United States Army and later retired from Weirton Steel Corporation. Sonny was a dedicated member of the Church of Christ in Calcutta and the Moose Lodge in East Liverpool. He had a passion for dancing, shooting pool, and gardening.
He will be deeply missed by his son, Michael Pustovarh of Weirton; grandchildren, Anthony Pustovarh and Michael Adams; and three great-grandchildren, Ava, Alex, and Aubree.
Evangelist Will Montgomery will celebrate Sonny's life on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 10 a.m., at Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. Interment will be held at St. John's- Haven of Rest Cemetery in Follansbee. Friends may visit with Sonny's family on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at the funeral home from noon to 2 p.m. and 4-6 p.m.
